Orion S.A., a specialty chemicals company, announced that it has entered an exclusive distribution agreement with ChemSpec.
Effective July 1, ChemSpec will represent Orion’s rubber and rubber carbon black product lines for mechanical rubber goods throughout the United States and Canada. ChemSpec is a subsidiary of France-based Safic-Alcan, which is also a distribution partner with Orion.
ChemSpec and Orion leadership, including ChemSpec President Dave Moreland and Orion’s channel manager David Roth, expressed confidence in their companies’ collaboration. They said that ChemSpec’s diverse product range in the rubber industry, combined with Orion’s product portfolio and technical proficiency, will enhance customer service and foster a successful partnership across the U.S. and Canada.
