ACA presented a series of awards recognizing both students and professionals for their innovative work in coatings technology, including the CoatingsTech Best Paper Award, Joseph J. Mattiello Award, and Student Poster Session Awards.
In addition to the prestigious Mattiello Memorial Lecture, the CoatingsTech Conference will feature a multi-track forum for all professionals in the coatings industry.

The Joseph J. Mattiello Lecture Award will be presented at the ACA CoatingsTech Conference, March 20–22, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio.
This biennial conference features a multi-track forum, industry awards, and presentation opportunities for both industry professionals and students, and will follow the theme of “Meeting the Sustainability Challenges of Today and Tomorrow.” Abstracts will be accepted through Oct. 15, 2016.

The Industry Statesmen Award is an honor given to individuals at or near retirement, in recognition and appreciation of their long and devoted service to the paint and coatings industry.
Christopher M. Connor, executive chairman of The Sherwin-Williams Company, received the George Baugh Heckel Award — the association’s highest honor — in recognition of his leadership efforts on behalf of the association and the industry.
