WEG has announced it expanding its production capacity of industrial paints in Guaramirim, Brazil, by 2024.
The $14 million investment (70 million in Brazilian reals) includes the construction of a new unit for industrial liquid paint, which the company says is expected to increase the production capacity by approximately 70%. The project also includes a distribution and logistics center.
“These investments are important for the growth of WEG’s industrial paint business in the country, as they significantly expand our production and logistics capacity to meet the growing demand for more efficient and sustainable industrial paints,” said Rafael Torezan, managing director of WEG Industrial Paints.
