Omya, a producer of industrial minerals and distributor of specialty ingredients, has reached an agreement to acquire Hall Technologies, Inc., a specialty chemical distributor headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., with sales reach throughout the Midwest and southern United States.
The closing of the transaction is expected to take place sometime in April.
According to Omya, the acquisition will enhance its distribution network in North America, allowing the company to better serve both its customers and principals throughout the United States and beyond. Omya says it and Hall will continue to reinforce and expand their customer and principal relationships.
