Siltech Corporation, an Ontario manufacturer of specialty silicone, has announced a $100 million investment to build a new manufacturing facility in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada.
The 210,000-square-foot facility is expected to create 51 jobs and will be the company’s third facility in the province.
Siltech silicone is used in the personal care, automotive, agriculture, pulp and paper, and oil and gas industries. The company says the new facility will include new technology designed to increase production and help the company meet growing demand and expand to new markets.
