ACA Webinar: Review of Maine and Oregon EPR Packaging Laws

This free webinar will address recent laws enacted in Maine and Oregon that require producers to manage the end-of-life of any packaging. While these state laws differ in the details, they include the common denominators of extended producer responsibility (EPR). Producers introducing product into commerce in these states must register or become a member of a “producer responsibility organization” (PRO).

This webinar will provide attendees the following insight:

• Background on how the state laws were passed;
• Differences between the two laws;
• Potential impacts on producers (including paint producers);
• A preview of the regulatory phase/functionality of the PRO in each state; and
