New Jersey to Amend Rules for Architectural Coatings and Consumer Products

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has notified stakeholders that it intends to propose amendments to its architectural coatings (AIM) and consumer products rules in the coming months. The agency’s amendments will seek to align the state’s AIM rule with the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) Phase II Model Rule and its consumer products rule with the OTC Phase III and IV Model Rules. OCSiAl is launching a graphene nanotube synthesis facility near Belgrade, Serbia, in the first half of 2023. EPA Proposed Amendments to NESHAP for Miscellaneous Coating Manufacturing

On June 7, U.S. EPA issued proposed amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Miscellaneous Coating Manufacturing (MCM) facilities. The proposed amendments would establish inorganic HAP standards for process vessels, following the mandated technology review conducted under the Clean Air Act. Read More…
