BASF Inaugurates New Plant at Antwerp Verbund Site
BASF inaugurated a production plant for alkyl ethanolamines at its Verbund site in Antwerp, Belgium. BASF says the investment will increase the company’s global annual production capacity for alkyl ethanolamines, including dimethyl ethanolamine (DMEOA) and methyl diethanolamine (MDEOA), by nearly 30 percent to more than 140,000 tons per year. Arkema’s Nansha site in China has achieved ISCC PLUS certification. The Mass Balance approach enables Arkema to launch a new range of bio-attributed UV/LED/EB curable resins in Asia. Hempel officially closed its strategic partnership deal with CVC Funds. The Hempel Foundation, in agreement with the Hempel A/S Board of Directors, invited CVC Funds to become a minority investor in May of 2024.
