Covestro Invests in Pittsburgh Headquarters

Covestro LLC is investing more than $40 million to modernize its Pittsburgh headquarters. The 9-building site employs approximately 700 people and has served as the North American business headquarters since 1958, as well as one of the company's three global R&D hubs. PPG completed the expansion to its Yen Phong industrial coatings plant in Bắc Ninh, Vietnam, adding a new production line for PPG AQUACRON™ waterborne coatings for consumer electronics. Omya has been named the exclusive distributor for TIB Chemicals Corporation's organotin and tin-free catalyst product lines in the U.S. coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) markets. Henkel Invests in its Largest Indian Manufacturing Facility

Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited (Henkel India) announced the completion of Phase III of its LEED Gold certified manufacturing facility in Kurkumbh, near Pune, Maharashtra. Arkema Opens Innovation Lab in Japan

Arkema announced the addition of a new technologies lab at its Arkema Kyoto Technical Center. According to the company, the new lab will strengthen its ability to innovate and address customer needs for ultraviolet-light-cured, light emitting diode, and electron-beam-cured (UV/LED/EB) curable resins and additives used for specialty coating and adhesive applications in advanced electronics, new energies, building efficiency, and e-mobility markets.
