Vibrantz Technologies has acquired Micro Abrasives Corporation, a manufacturer of calcined alumina. The company’s products are used in the manufacture of liquid abrasives for automotive polish formulations, precision powders, and slurries. Covestro Invests in Pittsburgh Headquarters

Covestro LLC is investing more than $40 million to modernize its Pittsburgh headquarters. The 9-building site employs approximately 700 people and has served as the North American business headquarters since 1958, as well as one of the company's three global R&D hubs. PPG completed the expansion to its Yen Phong industrial coatings plant in Bắc Ninh, Vietnam, adding a new production line for PPG AQUACRON™ waterborne coatings for consumer electronics.
