DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, will provide business development, marketing, sales, logistics, and distribution services for Vink Chemicals’ range of biocides. Biocides are used as preservative solutions in paint and coatings, as well as protective agents for liquids in cooling and processing systems and metalworking fluids. Nouryon has announced that its nine manufacturing sites in Brazil are now powered with electricity solely from renewable energy sources, which it says will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition to a low-carbon economy.
