Vibrantz Technologies announced the upcoming groundbreaking of a production facility to expand the capacity of its patented Pearls™ sustainable tinting solution at its site in Sittard, the Netherlands. According to Vibrantz, Pearls™ is the industry’s first volumetrically dosed tinting system of solid colorants for water-based architectural and industrial paints.

Expected to be operational in 2026, the facility will include a full-scale production plant and research and development laboratories.

The company says this project is part of an approximately $20 million investment that will increase the its global Pearls production capacity to about 1.2 million liters per year.
