Trinseo completed a solar panel installation of 1,800 solar panel modules at its latex binders manufacturing facility in Hamina, Finland. Working with Finnish electricity supplier Helen Oy, the new solar panels are expected to offset approximately 20% of the site’s power consumption. Global coatings company Axalta announced a partnership with Solera, a global player in vehicle lifecycle management, where Axalta’s conventional and Fast Cure Low Energy (FCLE) refinish paint systems will be integrated into Solera’s Sustainable Estimatics platform.
