Stahl, a provider of speciality coatings for flexible materials, has signed an agreement to acquire the graphics coatings business of Weilburger Coatings in Brazil. This expansion follows earlier ones in Germany and Turkey.
According to the company, Brazil, and the wider Latin American region, represent attractive growth markets, particularly in segments such as food, beverage, and consumer packaging.
“Ensuring continuity for our customers is our highest priority,” said Saul Rios, managing director LATAM at Stahl. “By maintaining supply and service from the outset, we provide a seamless transition while building a strong foundation for future growth.”
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next weeks, subject to regulatory approvals.
