Sika has agreed to acquire Akkim, a Turkey-based global manufacturer of adhesives and sealants. According to Sika, the acquisition will strengthen its position in the global adhesives and sealants market and create significant growth opportunities.
Akkim operates two production facilities in Turkey and Romania and is expanding capacity with an additional major site in Turkey to support future growth. According to Sika, the strategically located manufacturing sites offer strong potential to serve as production and export hubs for a broad geographic region.
