The Protech Group announced the acquisition of Loes Enterprises, Inc., a custom compounder of PVC plastisol and related products based in Saint Paul, Minn.
According to Protech, the acquisition marks a significant advancement in its ongoing growth and diversification strategy. Protech’s coatings expertise spans industrial specialty polymer-based materials including thermoset and thermoplastic powder coatings, industrial liquid paints, adhesives, and other polymer-based specialty materials.
The manufacturing operations of Loes will be integrated into Chemionics (Specialty Material Division of the Protech Group) located in Tallmadge, Ohio, which specializes in bespoke Plastisol and Latex formulations, acquired in 2017.
Current customers of Loes Enterprises will continue to have access to their existing products while also benefiting from Protech’s extensive global network of products and technology.
