Nouryon unveiled its new Innovation Center and expanded office footprint in Mumbai, India, nearly doubling the previous office space to accommodate its growing Global Service Center. The Innovation Center serves end markets including paints and coatings, agriculture, and home and personal care. The expanded Mumbai office space now occupies 100,000 square feet and hosts approximately 325 employees with room to grow further, according to the company.

It will also enable us to develop and promote innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.”
The Global Service Center in India includes commercial teams dedicated to business development within India and functional hubs that support Nouryon’s global growth strategies.

According to the company, the Innovation Center facility enables the development of water-based paints and solutions in asphalt and building and construction applications. It also focuses on powder formulations and seed coating formulations and is equipped with specialized machinery for applying coatings to seeds, enhancing their protection and performance in agriculture. In home and personal care, the Innovation Center will support advanced applications for surfactants, chelating agents, fabric softener actives, hair styling polymers, and starches.
Nouryon has operated in India since 1991 and has grown its presence to include a comprehensive Global Service Center in Mumbai that hosts a commercial team focused on key end-markets including pharma, personal care, cleaning, crop nutrition, paints, coatings, and packaging. In addition to the office and Innovation Center in Mumbai, Nouryon operates an organic peroxide production site and metal alkyls refilling station in Mahad, Maharashtra, that has been operational for more than three decades.
