LANXESS, suppliers of antimicrobial protection products, and Tennants GmbH have agreed on a partnership for integrated solutions for enhanced industrial plant hygiene.

Inadequate hygiene can lead to microbial disruptions or contamination of raw materials, production water, equipment and end products. LANXESS explains that proper industrial plant hygiene, and efficient, real- time and quantitative microbial control mechanisms are essential for sustainable production.
The partnership will combine LANXESS’s biocide portfolio and the Tennants’ adenosine triphosphate (ATP) technology, which is designed to detect possible contamination with microorganisms.

According to LANXESS , the partnership includes paints and polymer manufacturing, as well as the processing industries, including chemicals for inks, adhesives, plastics, textiles, leather, metalworking fluids, lubricants, and building materials.

The companies are planning joint webinars on ATP technology, plant hygiene and material preservation to explain the benefits of this holistic approach to customers.
