IMCD Group (IMCD) has opened its new Technical Center in Ataşehir, Istanbul, Türkiye, adding to a global network of more than 80 technical centers and laboratories. Designed as a strategic hub, the center delivers formulation development, optimization of existing commercial products, technical consultancy, and hands-on support for customers’ innovation pipelines.
The IMCD Türkiye Technical Center consolidates the food & nutrition, beauty & personal care, and coatings & construction laboratories—previously operating from separate locations— into a single, expanded facility.
The Coatings & Construction Laboratory offers technical and formulation support for decorative, industrial, protective paints, wood and floor coverings, as well as ceramic adhesives, self-levelling screeds and exterior thermal insulation systems. Bringing together different areas of expertise under one roof, the laboratory allows formulation development, performance tests and applied verifications handled in a way that matches end-use conditions.
