AkzoNobel Powder Coatings and the startup coatingAI are partnering on software that is using artificial intelligence to improve the application process and reduce carbon footprint.
According to the AkzoNobel, the industry-first software, called Flightpath, enables customers to optimize equipment settings such as gun motion and achieve more uniform, consistent coverage with fewer flaws. The software doesn’t require complex integration and, as conditions change, it continually adapts its recommended parameters.
