AkzoNobel announced upgrades to production, infrastructure and technology at three of the company’s Powder Coatings sites in North America as part of a $60 million investment.
These upgrades, implemented at AkzoNobel’s facilities in Reading, Penn.; Warsaw, Ind.; and Monterrey, Mexico, are projected to strengthen and expand manufacturing and production capabilities and reinforce the regional supply, according to the company.
“Manufacturing continues to evolve rapidly and our customers expect partners who are investing alongside them,” says Jeff Jirak, Managing Director of AkzoNobel’s Powder Coatings business and member of the company’s Executive Committee.
