The following industry professionals have recently received appointments or promotions.

Gladys Go

Nippon Paint Marine has announced the appointment of Gladys Goh as president. Goh is the first female and foreign national to lead a principal operating company in Japan. Goh joined Nippon Paint Malaysia in 2006 and led the brand to become Malaysia’s top coatings provider and subsequently led expansion into new markets. She concurrently serves as senior vice president, Strategic Innovation & Marketing at NIPSEA Group.

X-Rite Incorporated has appointed Jeff McKee to president. McKee was previously chief financial officer (CFO). In his new role, McKee will lead the company into the future of digital color management, automation, and 3D visualization.

McKee has overseen the finance, information technologies, and global services businesses, including inside sales, order entry, product management, and service centers at X-Rite. According to the company, he has played a pivotal role in facilitating the company’s M&A strategy through several strategic acquisitions.

Sean Lannon

Nouryon has announced the appointment of Sean Lannon as the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). According to the company, Lannon will have executive oversight of the company’s finance function and will play a critical role in shaping Nouryon’s financial strategy in support of its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to customers.

Lannon joins the company from Copeland where he served as CFO. Prior to Copeland, Lannon held several senior positions in finance at Axalta Coating Systems. Prior to his tenure at Axalta, he served in various senior finance roles at Styron LLC (Trinseo), Endo Pharmaceuticals, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lannon is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in accounting from Philadelphia University.

Bhavana Bindra

Lubrizol Corporation has announced the appointment of Bhavana Bindra as managing director, India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA). According to the company, the newly created role will support Lubrizol’s aggressive growth goals and ongoing commitment to the region.

Bhavana will be responsible for leading the company’s IMEA team to deliver regional growth for Lubrizol and its customers, based on a local-for-local approach.

Bindra has more than two decades of experience in the manufacturing including positions at REHAU and Cummins India.

OCSiAl has announced the appointment of Peter Cuneo as chairman of the board of directors.

Cuneo’s career includes president and CEO of Marvel Entertainment, Remington Products, president of Black & Decker’s Security Hardware Group, and president of Bristol Myers Squibb pharmaceuticals group in Canada.

OCSiAl says Cuneo brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience and a proven track record of investment in many industries to OCSiAl.

Zach Blackwell

Sheboygan Paint Company has announced that Zach Blackwell has joined the company as regional sales manager—northeast. Noting his background in industrial coatings sales, the company says Blackwell will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and managing key accounts. In his previous position at Sherwin-Williams, Blackwell received the Leaders’ Cub Award for outstanding sales results. He holds a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University.

AkzoNobel has announced that Jaska de Bakker, Ute Wolf and Wouter Kolk will be nominated for appointment to the company’s Supervisory Board, while Byron Grote—who currently serves as deputy chair and chair of the Audit Committee—will be nominated for a fourth term of one year.

De Bakker has experience in strategy, governance, and ESG. Currently a board member at various companies, she was previously CFO at Royal FrieslandCampina and at Royal HaskoningDHV.

Wolf has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and corporate planning. She served as CFO of Evonik Industries AG for 10 years and, prior to that, held several senior positions within various industries and companies.

Kolk is currently CEO of Ahold Delhaize Europe and Indonesia. He has more than 32 years of experience in commercial, operational, supply chain, strategic, and general management roles.

Subject to the approval of his re-appointment, Grote will lead the supervision of the external auditor selection process, whereby the external audit firm of AkzoNobel will be replaced, starting with the audit of the 2026 financial statements.

The appointments and re-appointment will be put to shareholders for approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held on April 25. Pam Kirby, who is completing her second four-year term, will step down as member of the Supervisory Board at that time.
