Perstorp Group has announced that Ib Jensen will take over from Jan Secher as chief executive officer (CEO), effective March 1. Jan Secher will thereafter serve as an advisor to the new CEO and the Chairman, focusing on strategy and transferring external relationships. Monica Jönsson, currently deputy chief financial officer (CFO), will take on the role as CFO when Ib Jensen assumes the position as CEO.
Ib Jensen has served as CFO of Perstorp for the past year and has specialty chemicals industry experience in M&A and the integration of acquired companies, something that the company says will be required in its next phase.
