Wesco Group (Wesco) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire National Coatings & Supplies (NCS), a distributor of coatings and related solutions to aftermarket automotive refinish and specialty industrial customers.

According to Wesco, the acquisition will unite the two companies to create a broader national footprint, expanded product offerings, and enhanced levels of customer support and technical expertise.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Closing of the transaction is subject to receipt of customary regulatory approvals. Until then, Wesco and NCS will continue to operate as separate and independent companies.
