Brenntag has signed a new supply agreement with Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited for anticorrosive pigments for paints, coatings, plastics, and other applications in Australia.

Brenntag has supplied the New Zealand market through an agreement with Heubach GmbH, now a subsidiary of Sudarshan, for more than 20 years.

Sudarshan’s portfolio includes the Heucophos™ and Heucorin™ ranges of anticorrosive pigments, which it says Are formulated to extend service life and lower maintenance costs, and are particularly suited to Australia’s challenging climate, where durable corrosion protection is a critical requirement.

Gary Woolly, commercial manager, Australia and New Zealand, Brenntag Specialties Material Science APAC, said, “Our collaboration with Heubach, and now Sudarshan, has been built on more than two decades of trust and shared growth. Over the years, we have seen the business develop strongly in New Zealand, and this new agreement marks the exciting next phase as we extend our partnership into the Australian market. We are confident that Sudarshan’s innovation in pigment chemistry, combined with Brenntag’s distribution expertise, will bring significant value to customers across Australia.”
