Covia Holdings LLC has opened a new laboratory facility in Concord, N.C., to expand its network of innovation capabilities. The innovation center, which includes modular lab space, meeting rooms, and office space, will serve as a hub for customer engagement and product development.

In addition to mineral processing, the roughly 20,000 square foot center will support the evolving needs of the markets Covia serves, including development and testing across a range of industries, such as coatings, polymers, engineered stone, and sports and recreation.
