The U.S. Census Bureau has recently issued the forms for the 2012 Economic Census, the U.S. Government's official five-year measure of American business and the economy. Nearly 4 million businesses have received forms for the Economic Census, and, by law, these businesses must respond by Feb. 12, 2013.
ACA and its members have benefited from the information gathered during this process, and the results of the Census provide useful benchmarks to manufacturers in areas such as wages and benefits, raw materials costs, and other business input. As a result, timely and accurate reporting is important, not only to our government, but to the coatings industry and other manufacturers.
