Check out NPCAvotes.org for Election and Candidate Info!
With the 2008 Election just a month away, NPCA has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to provide members with an online voter resource, www.npcavotes.org. The site, linked to both NPCA's www.Paint.org and www.PaintPAC.org, offers NPCA companies and their employees information on voter registration, absentee voting, polling locations and candidate bios and records for all 50 states. It also features timely and pertinent political news on the Presidential race.
Everyone is now aware of how close elections can be at any level, making it all the more critical to learn about the candidates and get out and vote. In election years, this site will guide you on voter registration, the candidates, and the questions of the day.
Your involvement in the political process really can make a difference. Whether writing a personal letter to your member of Congress or learning about the issues that shape each election, it is important to stay informed and make your voice heard in order to provide direction to policymakers on those issues important to you.
Please also visit www.PaintPAC.org to see how NPCA supports candidates who have demonstrated that they are sensitive to the concerns of the paint and coatings industry, or have demonstrated a pro-business stance, or generally support a climate in which business can flourish.
