American Chemet Corporation Announces Election of William H. ("Bill") Shropshire as New President and CEO

American Chemet Corporation announced the election of William H. ("Bill") Shropshire as its new president and CEO, effective July 1, 2010. Shropshire has been with the organization for more than a decade, serving in a variety of roles, most recently as executive vice president. Bill will be replacing W. W. Shropshire, who has become Chairman of the Board. H. H. "Larry" Larison, former Chairman, has been elected as Chairman Emeritus.
