Dow Corning's Ken Yarosh Elected Vice Chairman of ASTM International Board
ASTM International has elected Ken Yarosh, global service line manager for the specialty chemicals business of Dow Corning, to serve as vice chairman of the International Board of Directors for a two-year term, which began January 1, 2010.
Yarosh is currently vice chair of ASTM International Committee C24 on Building Seals and Sealants, and he also serves on Committees D14 on Adhesives, E06 on Performance of Buildings and E60 on Sustainability. He participates in many inter-laboratory studies and has worked on several key standards for the glazing and weatherproofing industry.
In 2005, Yarosh was awarded the ASTM Award of Merit, the organization's highest award. He was also granted Certificates of Appreciation in 1998 and 2000, as well as the C24 Sealants Hall of Fame Award in 2001.
