Enter Your Company Data for an ACA Safety Award
Submissions for ACA's 2010 Safety Awards Program are now being accepted through April 15, 2010, via the association’s web-based electronic entry form at http://www.paint.org/member/safety/. The awards will be presented for safety performance based on a member plant's eligibility, and certificates and announcements will be accomplished in May 2010 in order to be closer the actual timeline for compiling and submitting and safety data for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The purpose of this program is to provide valuable data on the safety record of our industry, which helps ACA advocate our industry's commitment to workplace safety with various regulatory agencies. In addition, this information also aids you in assessing the effectiveness of your safety programs as compared to others in the industry and the industry as a whole.
To ensure your plant's eligibility, please enter your site data electronically via our website no later than April 15, 2010. Please remember that our database does NOT save prior year data and all five years must be entered each time. For all companies submitting safety data for facilities located outside the United States, please ensure you identify them in the appropriate space on the electronic form.
To allow us to report the data in comparable groupings, all forms must have the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for the facility being submitted. The SIC is published by the Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget, and is superseded by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). No entries will be processed without the SIC or NAICS Code for the facility.
