Meeting Agenda

The 2008 Global Marine Coatings Forum will bring together leading international senior technical and product managers of marine coatings, as well as raw materials suppliers - to discuss and develop consensus positions on critical regulatory, commercial, and legal issues affecting the industry worldwide.

It will be done in conjunction with key players from international and national regulatory bodies, classification societies, and marine insurers. This is the second Global Marine Coatings Forum; the first was held in Tokyo in 2006.

Conducted under the auspices of the International Paint and Printing Ink Council (IPPIC), a major objective of the forum is to establish on going working committees in order to develop consensus industry positions for presentation to international regulatory bodies including the International Maritime Organization (IMO), where IPPIC has NGO consultative status.

Please note: These decisions will be made by all the participants at the forum by vote for timely communication to the IMO and other relevant bodies.

This important 3 day event will be held at the beautiful and historic Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore's Orchard Road area. It will commence on April 9 with an evening cocktail reception and end in the afternoon on April 11.
